Rancher-fulfilled shipping
Every product purchased through Farm To You is shipped directly by the Rancher who sells it. Farm To You operates the marketplace but does not physically package or ship Rancher products unless expressly stated otherwise. Each Rancher is responsible for displaying relevant shipping information on their storefront or product listings, including available shipping destinations, regular processing and shipping days, packaging and cold-chain methods, estimated processing and transit times, and product-specific shipping restrictions.
Orders from multiple Ranchers
Products purchased from different Ranchers are fulfilled independently. An order containing products from multiple Ranchers may arrive in separate packages on different days. Each shipment may have its own shipping charge, carrier and service level, tracking number, processing timeline, and estimated delivery date.
Perishable-product packaging
Perishable products are shipped using packaging designed to maintain safe temperatures during the Rancher's stated transit window — insulated liners, dry ice, gel packs, or another appropriate cold-chain solution.
- Monitor tracking information
- Make arrangements to receive the delivery
- Bring packages inside promptly
- Inspect products upon arrival
- Refrigerate or freeze products according to the included instructions
Dry ice must be handled carefully. Do not touch it with bare skin or place it inside an airtight container.
Shipping charges and membership benefits
Non-members are responsible for the shipping charges displayed at checkout. Members may receive free or reduced shipping according to their membership plan. Shipping benefits may vary based on Rancher participation, product type, order value, delivery destination, shipping method, membership tier, and other disclosed restrictions. Applicable shipping charges are displayed before the order is submitted.
Processing and delivery estimates
Processing, shipping, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Actual timelines may vary due to the Rancher's processing schedule, product availability, customer location, carrier delays or service interruptions, weather or natural events, holidays and seasonal demand, incorrect or incomplete delivery information, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Farm To You or the Rancher. Farm To You and its Ranchers are not responsible for carrier delays or other circumstances outside their reasonable control, except where otherwise required by law.
Tracking information
The Rancher will add available tracking information after an order ships. Tracking numbers and shipment updates will appear in the customer's account under Orders and may also be provided by email or text message. Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment updates and arranging for perishable packages to be received promptly.
Incorrect addresses and missed deliveries
Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout. Address changes are not guaranteed after processing begins. Additional costs or product losses caused by an incorrect address, refused shipment, missed delivery, or failure to retrieve a package promptly may be the customer's responsibility.
Shipping problems
Customers should inspect their orders immediately upon delivery and should not consume products believed to be damaged, improperly thawed, incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise compromised. Report the issue through your order page within 48 hours of delivery with the order number, a description of the problem, photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label, and any other information reasonably requested. Reported shipping problems are reviewed under the Farm To You Refund and Cancellation Policy.
